Modi to hoist flag at Ayodhya's Ram Temple on November 25
India
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will raise a saffron flag atop the newly completed Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Temple in Ayodhya this November 25.
The event, set for Vivaha Panchami—the day marking Lord Ram and Sita's wedding—will feature a striking 10x20 foot flag with symbols of Lord Ram's brilliance and the ideals of Ram Rajya.
Why does it matter?
This isn't just another political event.
About 7,000 people are invited, including not only leaders like RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat and UP CM Yogi Adityanath but also grassroots activists from SC, ST, OBC, Dalit, and transgender communities.
By spotlighting voices from across society—not just big names—the ceremony aims to make the temple a truly unifying symbol for all.
