Mumbai: Man tries to sexually assault minor, arrested

A 58-year-old real estate agent, Rajan Jadhav, was arrested in Mumbai's Andheri East after he allegedly tried to sexually assault a young girl while she and another minor were playing outside.
The whole incident was caught on CCTV, showing Jadhav trying to cover one girl's mouth.

Jadhav is now facing charges under POCSO Act

A parent witnessed the disturbing act and quickly alerted the police. Officers from MIDC station arrested Jadhav at the scene.
He's now facing charges under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offenses (POCSO) Act.
The case has sparked concerns among residents about child safety, especially after a recent court reminder that minors' consent isn't legally valid under POCSO.
