Navy Chief asserts new approach to terrorism

India's Navy is changing the way it responds to threats.
Admiral Dinesh K Tripathi just shared that after the recent Pahalgam attack, India will treat terror strikes as acts of war—meaning the Navy is stepping up its game to stay ready for anything.

Navy on 'defensive' no more

At the Naval Investiture Ceremony in Delhi, Admiral Tripathi highlighted how Indian ships, subs, and aircraft are being deployed more proactively—like during Operation Sindoor—to keep hostile activities in check.
The event also celebrated officers like Commodore Kartik Srimal for their standout service in anti-piracy and defense ops.
As Admiral Tripathi put it, these honors show just how committed the Navy is to protecting the country.
