TMC student wing member accused in rape case

A 24-year-old law student at South Calcutta Law College was allegedly gang-raped on campus by Monojit Misra, a former student and local TMC student wing leader, along with two current students.
The incident reportedly happened after the victim rejected Misra's marriage proposal.

Victim was in college after hours

According to police, Misra confined the victim in a college guard room for over three hours while the other two stood watch.
Medical reports confirmed serious injuries. All three have been arrested, and the case is under investigation.
