CCTV footage shows moments before blast
The CCTV footage from four different angles provided a detailed account of the moments leading up to the blast. Surveillance records also tracked Nabi's car passing through the Badarpur toll plaza earlier that day, confirming his entry into Delhi hours before the attack. Senior investigators believe the attack was part of a larger terror plot by a "white-collar" network of radicalized professionals based in Faridabad.

Terror module
Attack part of larger terror plot
The module is believed to consist of educated people like doctors and professors who had ideological and logistical links with extremist handlers in Jammu and Kashmir. Hours before the blast, eight people were arrested, including Dr. Muzammil Ganaie and Dr. Shaheen Sayeed from Al Falah University in Faridabad. On Wednesday, the Jammu and Kashmir Police also detained a preacher from Haryana's Mewat region in connection with the "white-collar" terror module.

The preacher, identified as Maulvi Ishtiyaq, was living in rented accommodation on the Al Falah University campus, from where over 2,500 kilograms of ammonium nitrate, potassium chlorate, and sulfur were seized. According to NDTV sources, during questioning, Muzammil stated that there was an attack planned for January 26 of next year. The sources also claimed that Shakeel told the cops that they had planned to attack a crowded place during Diwali but were unable to carry it out.
