NIA arrests 7 in Red Fort blast case

India

Seven people have been arrested after the Red Fort blast on November 10, which tragically took 13 lives.
The explosion happened near Lal Qila Metro station when a Hyundai i20 car blew up—investigators say Umar Nabi was driving.
DNA from his mother helped confirm the main suspect's identity.
Right now, all those arrested are being questioned by officials.

How the suspects are connected

The first arrest was Amir Rashid Ali, accused of getting the car and handling logistics.
Jasir Bilal Wani is believed to have given technical advice for making explosives.
Others—Muzammil Ahmad Ganai, Adeel Ahmed Rather, Shaheen Ansari, and Mufti Irfan Ahmad Wagay—are linked to Pakistani militant groups and allegedly played key roles in the terror attack, according to the NIA.
J&K Police found a huge stash of explosives at one suspect's home and is working with state police to break up this network.
