NTA to release answer key for NEET(UG) 2019 soon

The National Testing Agency (NTA) conducted the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test UG 2019 [NEET (UG)] twice this year, on May 5 and May 20. As per reports, the answer keys for the exams held on both the dates are expected to be released soon. NTA had re-scheduled the exam to May 20 for Odisha, Siliguri and Karnataka candidates due to Cyclone Fani.

OMR sheets of all candidates to be released online

NTA, which also conducted Joint Entrance Examination (Mains) and other entrance examinations, is known for releasing the answer keys within five days of the exam. Therefore, the same is now expected for NEET(UG). Reportedly, the Optical Mark Recognition (OMR) sheets and the answers graded by the machine of all the candidates who appeared for the exam will be released online.

Here is how you can download the answer key

Once the answer key is uploaded, follow these steps to download it: 1- Visit the official website of NEET 2019, ntaneet.nic.in 2- Click on the NEET 2019 answer key link on the homepage. 3- Login with your registration details to check and download the answer key. All the candidates are requested to keep a check on the official website for any updates.

There might be a delay in NEET 2019 results

As per reports, the students will also be able to challenge the answer key at Rs. 1000 per answer challenged. The details for the same will be out soon. Although NEET(UG) 2019 result is scheduled to come out on June 5, there is a possibility that there might be a slight delay as the exam in three states was postponed due to the cyclone.

    What is NEET (UG)?

NEET (UG) exam is conducted annually for admission in Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) and Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) in government-approved Indian medical and dental colleges. Earlier, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) was responsible for conducting the exam.
