With the conflict getting worse, the government stepped in fast—flying students out of Tehran to Armenia, then to Delhi, all under the watch of the Ministry of External Affairs.

Varta, a student from Kashmir, said coming home "felt like home," while others described seeing drone and missile impacts in Tehran.
