Operation Sindoor continues: Rajnath Singh's warning to Pakistan
India's Defence Minister Rajnath Singh has sent a strong message to Pakistan, saying any future terror attacks on India will have "disastrous" consequences.
This warning comes while Operation Sindoor—India's crackdown on terror camps in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir—was conducted after the deadly Pahalgam attack in April that killed 26 people, mostly tourists.
Singh shared this message with troops in Udhampur during International Yoga Day, emphasizing India's resolve to protect its people.
Singh to attend major SCO meeting in China
Singh is also heading to China for a major Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) meeting from June 25-27—the first such visit since the Ladakh standoff began in 2020.
The meeting could see discussions about the Pahalgam attack and how it's addressed internationally, as India and Pakistan push their own narratives.
Meanwhile, India has made it clear it won't back an SCO statement on the Iran-Israel conflict, showing where it stands on global issues right now.
