Panchayat leader and aide murdered in Bihar's Lakhisarai
Chandan Singh, the elected head (mukhiya) of Walipur village in Bihar's Lakhisarai district, and his aide Chandan Kumar were shot and killed early Wednesday morning.
The attack happened around 1:30am as they were heading home from a local function.
Armed men fired at them and escaped; both victims were declared dead at the hospital.
