The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted that cold wave conditions will continue to prevail over parts of central and western India till Thursday. The weather department said minimum temperatures over most of northwest and central India are likely to remain unchanged for the next two days. However, a rise of 2-4 degrees Celsius is expected between December 13 and 15 due to an approaching western disturbance.

In Delhi, minimum temperatures are likely to drop by 2-3 degrees Celsius in the next two days. Meanwhile, Maharashtra is also expected to witness a dip in minimum temperatures by 2-3 degrees Celsius over the next three days before they gradually rise again. Cold wave conditions are likely at isolated places over Madhya Maharashtra, Marathwada and Telangana till December 13.

In Himachal Pradesh, similar weather conditions are likely on December 14. However, no rainfall is anticipated over the plains of India for the next week.
