According to the IMD, an induced cyclonic circulation over Punjab and Haryana is likely to cause a generally cloudy sky with the possibility of very light to light rain on January 1. If this happens, it could be Delhi's first spell of rain this season. From January 3, cold wave conditions may worsen, with minimum temperatures falling below 5 degrees Celsius.
