India
Prime Minister Modi just made a first-ever visit to Slovakia, and it's a pretty big deal: India and Slovakia have now upgraded their relationship to a "comprehensive partnership."
Modi and Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico concluded a Letter of Intent on promoting defense ties, focusing on tech, R and D, training, and working together on industrial projects.
India and Slovakia sign MOUs
The two countries also agreed to keep talking regularly about new ways to collaborate in defense.
Beyond that, they exchanged MOUs covering digital technology, labor migration (think: work opportunities), higher education and research, and even audio-visual creation.
There's buzz around teaming up in AI and supercomputers too.
