Prime Minister Narendra Modi is on a whirlwind five-country trip, starting with Ghana—India's first visit there in three decades.
He got a warm welcome from President John Dramani Mahama, complete with a Guard of Honour and 21-gun salute.
The goal? Strengthen India's connections with Africa and the Global South.

Focus on agriculture, trade, and more

Modi will head to Brazil (first Indian PM visit in nearly six decades), then Argentina (after 57 years), focusing on teamwork in areas like agriculture and trade.
He'll also stop by Namibia to address its Parliament—a big gesture for shared values—and wrap up in Brazil at the BRICS summit.
Modi even took a moment online to thank the Indian community in Ghana for their support.
