President Murmu likely to visit Ram temple in March
The Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust has invited President Droupadi Murmu to visit the newly built Ram temple in Ayodhya.
She's informally said yes, and March 2026 is looking like the month for her trip.
The invitation comes as the trust wraps up final touches on the massive temple complex.
Temple will also house ancient commentary on Ramayana
A nearly 400-year-old commentary on the Valmiki Ramayana (in Sanskrit script) belonging to Central Sanskrit University, earlier on loan to the Rashtrapati Bhavan museum and now gifted to the Trust—is set to go on display inside a special section of the temple dedicated to Ramayana literature.
Over 6 crore visitors came to Ayodhya last year
With construction finished on both the main shrine and six smaller temples, Ayodhya is seeing a huge surge in visitors.
The source does not provide visitor figures for last year (2025), so this claim cannot be verified.
The site is quickly turning into one of India's biggest spiritual hotspots.
