Pune's January cold snap: Temps drop to 10.2°C

India

Pune just had a real taste of winter, with temperatures dipping from 15.4°C on January 5 to a brisk 10.2°C by January 7 at Shivajinagar.
The NDA station even saw the first single-digit reading of the month at a chilly 8.7°C.

Why bother?

If you're heading out early, expect crisp mornings and, according to the forecast, mainly clear skies from January 10 to 13.
The IMD says the city will experience clear skies in the morning hours for the next two days.
While nights stay cool (around 10-14°C), afternoons will get warmer—up to 30°C soon.
Also, Pune's air quality index is sitting at a moderate level (196), so if you have breathing issues, it's smart to take it easy outdoors for now.
