Red Fort blast: Bomber's stay in Nuh sparks fear and exodus
A car bombing near Delhi's Red Fort on November 10 left at least 10 people dead and at least 24 injured.
The alleged bomber, Dr. Mohammad Umar Un Nabi, reportedly spent about 10 days in a rented room in Hidayat Colony, Nuh, just before the attack.
Since then, the neighborhood has seen at least 10 families leave as police and investigation teams move in.
Police probe shakes up local life
Teams from the NIA, Delhi Police Special Cell, and Haryana Police have been searching homes, questioning neighbors, and collecting evidence in Hidayat Colony.
At least 10 families have temporarily left their homes by November 17; most shops are shut and the area feels deserted.
Residents say daily police visits and document checks have made them anxious—one shared, "We got scared. We have moved out to a relative's place for now."
Authorities say these steps are necessary to find leads as the investigation continues.
