RSS worker Naveen Arora murder case: Main accused killed in police encounter

Punjab Police made a big move in the Naveen Arora murder case by killing Badal, the main suspect, during an encounter on Wednesday.
The shootout happened at a cremation ground in Fazilka while officers were trying to recover weapons and catch his accomplices.
Both Badal and a police head constable were injured and treated at the Fazilka Civil Hospital.

What led up to this

Arora, reportedly associated with the RSS, was shot dead by two unknown attackers in Firozpur.
After some digging, police identified Badal as the main accused.
This encounter marks the first major breakthrough for investigators, who are still searching for other suspects and piecing together more evidence to close the case.
