'Run for Unity' in Delhi: Here's what's up with traffic this Friday
Delhi is hosting the "Run for Unity" on Saturday morning to mark Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel's 150th birthday.
About 2,000 runners will go from DDA Sports Complex to the Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Commercial Complex between 8:30am and noon, so expect some changes if you're heading out.
What's changing on the roads?
The run will pass through Maya Muni Ram Marg, Lala Jagat Narain Marg, Road No. 44, and M2K Road.
No heavy vehicles or roadside parking allowed during the event—parked cars could get towed and fined.
If you need to travel nearby, it's best to take public transport or plan alternate routes.
Safety 1st (and how to stay updated)
Traffic police will be out managing things so everyone stays safe and delays are minimal.
Try not to travel in the area unless necessary, and keep an eye out for real-time updates from Delhi Traffic Police online.
If you spot anything odd, let them know!
