SC: IAF personnel cant grow beards on religious grounds

What's the story
A Supreme Court bench, headed by Chief Justice TS Thakur held that personnel working in the Indian Air Force cannot sport a beard based on religious grounds.
The bench added that the directive also does not infringe upon the fundamental rights of any of the servicemen.
Two petitions were filed separately by Mohammed Zubair and Ansari Aaftab Ahmed, challenging the IAF's orders prohibiting beards.
