Srinagar Police attach terrorist Sajad Gul's ₹2cr house

India

Srinagar Police have attached a three-storey house, valued at around ₹2 crore, linked to Sajad Ahmad Sheikh (also known as Sajad Gul), a designated terrorist.
The property sits in Rose Avenue, HMT Khushipora, and is officially in his father's name.
Authorities acted under the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act (UAPA), aiming to cut off support for terror networks.

Gul was involved in spreading anti-India propaganda online

Investigations showed that even though the house was registered to Gul's father, Sajad Gul was an active stakeholder and beneficiary, and he was involved in spreading anti-India propaganda and inciting violence online.
The move follows an FIR filed at Parimpora Police Station and was carried out with all legal checks in place.
Police say this is part of a bigger crackdown on terrorism funding in Jammu & Kashmir—warning that anyone helping militants risks losing their property and facing tough penalties.
