    What's the story

A Bengaluru woman has turned to social media in a desperate attempt to locate her missing husband, Vipin Gupta, who has gone missing since August 4.

The 37-year-old, who worked at a company in Manyata Tech Park, vanished after leaving his home at around 12:44pm.

Shortly after his disappearance, ₹1.8 lakh was withdrawn from his bank account, and his phone was switched off.

He was last seen riding his Kawasaki bike and wearing a T-shirt.

Gupta had moved to Bengaluru from Lucknow for better job prospects and was employed at a firm in Manyata Tech Park.

After he went missing, his wife, Sreeparna, filed a missing person report at the Kodigehalli police station, but she alleges that there has been no progress in the case.

In desperation, she has turned to social media, sharing appeals and updates about her husband's disappearance, including a heartbreaking plea on Facebook Live.

    No known addictions

In her live broadcast, Sreeparna claimed that her husband had no known addictions and was not suffering from depression.

She also stated that their family was financially stable and happy, dismissing any allegations of marital conflict.

"My husband never drank or gambled..We had no financial issues and were a happy family. He was not a quarrelsome person and had no known problems. We are devastated and need help," Sreeparna pleaded.
