UP woman kills son, then dies by suicide

A tragic event unfolded in Sonbhadra, Uttar Pradesh, where a 28-year-old woman, Rajpati, allegedly killed her 10-month-old son and then died by suicide on Wednesday night.
The incident happened shortly after she returned to her parents' home from Chhattisgarh.

Police start investigation, send bodies for post-mortem

Rajpati's family found the bodies the next morning and told police she had been struggling with mental distress, mainly because her husband was away for work.
Her older son was safe at a relative's house during the incident.
Police have started an investigation under SHO Kamlesh Pal and sent both bodies for post-mortem to understand what led to this situation.
