Woman who evaded arrest for 11 months held in Gurugram

Neetu Arora, 41, was arrested in Gurugram this week after being on the run for months.
Police say she pushed her husband to take his own life last October by implicating him in a false domestic violence case.

Arora is accused of conspiring with her boyfriend, Chandra Prakash, and harassing her husband—the couple had been married since 2001.
After his death on October 28, 2024, his brother filed a police complaint against Arora and Prakash.
To dodge the police, Arora allegedly used fake documents to get a passport and kept moving around.
She's now in police custody for three days as investigators look into how she evaded arrest and whether anyone else helped her.
