Kashmiri terrorist Zakir Musa will "liberate" India from "cow-worshipping" Modi

One day before Bakra Eid, al-Qaeda's Kashmir head Zakir Musa has released a 20-minute audio message on YouTube channel Ansar Ghazwa. "Narendra Modi, the worshipper of cow, can gather as much might with his politics and diplomacy but won't be able to stop us…We will hoist the flag of Islam on Hind (India) and we will have Hindu rulers chained and dragged," he said.

    Who is Zakir Musa?

Zakir Musa is one of the most notorious Kashmiri terrorists, known to provoke the youth to pick up arms. He was named the successor of late Burhan Wani, who was shot by Indian forces in 2016. Zakir Musa had left his BTech course in Chandigarh to join militancy. He posted his first video in August 2016 and asked people to unite.

What does he have to say?

Apart from threatening to "liberate" India from "cow-worshipping" Modi, Musa also warned the government against deporting Rohingyas in Jammu. He called the Kashmir movement a shining example of Islamic Jihad and thanked Allah for his "mercy". Earlier, Al Hurr, the outfit's media wing, had released a poster saying "Soon, by the will of Allah". Police suspect it indicated a potential terror attack by Musa.

    A breakup with Islamabad?

Musa said Pakistan had "back stabbed the jihad-e-Kashmir"; betraying the Kashmir cause, it had "shut down training camps (for terrorists), martyred many Kashmir-centric mujahideen and put some behind bars". He claimed Pakistan had joined hands with India and was working through back channels with its neighbor. Before ending, he declared the Kashmir jihad didn't require any state's support.
