The Haryana government has offered three options to star wrestler and Congress MLA, Vinesh Phogat. She can either choose a cash award of ₹ 4 crore, a "Group A" government job, or a plot under Haryana Shahri Vikas Pradhikaran (HSVP). The offer came during a state Cabinet meeting chaired by CM Nayab Singh Saini on Tuesday. Till now, Phogat has not reacted publicly to the offers.

Phogat was disqualified from the Paris Olympics due to a procedural decision. At that time, Saini tweeted that he would not allow the honor of Haryana's pride, Phogat, to be diminished.
