    What's the story

On Saturday, the second day of BJP's National Executive meeting at Delhi's Ramlila Maidan, the top brass of the saffron party launched a blitzkrieg on the opposition with Prime Minister Narendra Modi saying 'the chowkidaar won't stop'.

Hitting out at the mahagathbandhan, PM Modi said they came together for a majboor (helpless) government but the citizens wanted a majboot (strong) government.

    Attacking Congress

On 'Chowkidaar hi chor hai', PM Modi has a comeback

Amid cheers, PM Modi said he wouldn't stop despite the name-calling by Congress. The grand old party has started using the phrase 'Chowkidaar hi chor hai (guard is the thief)' for him.

"It has happened for the first time in the history of the country that a government that came into power with an absolute majority hasn't been accused of corruption," he added.

PM Modi talks about two 'processes' to get loans

Continuing his attack, PM Modi claimed earlier there were two ways to secure loans: Common way and Congress' way.

He said while common people got loans through banks, Congress helped its 'greedy friends' and gave them loans. PM Modi added the Centre did away with this process.

On caste-agnostic reservations, PM Modi said it was for youth who were left behind in the race.

Won't let anyone forget Congress' deeds: PM Modi on Ayodhya

On the sensitive Ayodhya issue, PM Modi said, "Look at Ayodhya matter. Congress is using their lawyers to stall the issue. Congress was even ready to impeach the CJI. We should not forget what Congress is doing and we should not let anyone forget it."

    Claims

Congress jailed Amit Shah, reminds PM Modi

PM Modi was clearly not done. He said Congress feels all institutions including RBI, CAG, and CBI are incorrect. Now, it's a battle between sultanate and Constitution, PM Modi claimed.

"When I was the CM of Gujarat, they tried to attack me using their agencies. They even jailed Amit Shah," he added.

Other BJP leaders explained why PM Modi should take office again.

    Shah's words

Shah tells what Congress gave the nation

BJP President Amit Shah 'listed the achievements' of Congress. He said, "Narendra Modi government has been working towards freeing India from the Congress' three contributions to India: nepotism, classism, and appeasement."

He expressed confidence on the cadres saying they would ensure PM Modi wins again.

Reportedly, 12,000 cadres from across the country attended the meet which kick-started on Friday.

BJP hasn't done anything wrong, claims Arun Jaitley

Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley took a dig at opposition parties allying together. He said after the polls, they will come out with swords.

"The Bharatiya Janata Party government has not done a single act that allows our workers to tilt their heads," he added.

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath called the mahagathbandhan a facade and said it will fail.

    Setting tone

What kind of PM do you want, asks PM Modi

Union Minister Nitin Gadkari said the government delivered its promises.

Defense Minister Nirmala Sitharaman said no major terror attacks happened since PM Modi came to power in 2014.

Finally, setting the tone for Lok Sabha elections, PM Modi asked the crowd: "Do you want a servant, who works 18 hours for you, or the one who goes on a sabbatical when the country needs him the most?"

    The country will decide soon.
