Rajya Sabha proceedings have been adjourned till 11 am on August 5 as the Opposition continued to protest over various issues. Meanwhile, Civil Aviation Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia moved the Airports Economic Regulatory Authority of India (Amendment) Bill, 2021 before today's session ended.

Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman moved the Limited Liability Partnership (Amendment) Bill in the Rajya Sabha which was passed in less than 25 minutes, even as opposition parties continued to stage protests.
Opposition leaders have issued a joint statement demanding a discussion on Pegasus in presence of Home Minister Amit Shah in both Houses of Parliament.
The lower house of the parliament has been adjourned till 3:30 pm.
Six TMC MPs were ordered to leave the Rajya Sabha for "grossly disorderly" conduct. While protesting against the Pegasus scandal, they entered the well of the house and displayed placards. These members are - Dola Sen, Nadimul Haque, Abir Ranjan Biswas, Shanta Chhetri , Arpita Ghosh and Mausam Noor.
Several Bills were passed without much discussion. These include -Juvenile Justice (Care and Protection of Children) Amendment Bill, 2021, Factoring Amendment Bill, 2021, The General Insurance Business (Nationalisation) Amendment Bill, 2021, Tribunal Reforms Bill, 2021.
