Singh recalls Pahalgam terror attack
Singh recalled the Pahalgam terror attack last year and highlighted India's swift military action under Operation Sindoor. "After the terrorist incident in Pahalgam, Indian forces brought Pakistan to its knees in just 22 minutes during 'Operation Sindoor.' This was the largest operation ever carried out against terrorism in Indian military history," he said. He said the operation has "not been called off" yet, warning Pakistan that any wrongdoing will be responded to.

Singh reiterated India's zero tolerance policy toward terrorism and slammed the previous Congress-led UPA government for its inaction during terrorist incidents. He said, "Do you remember what the situation was when the Congress-led UPA government was in power? Almost every other day, there would either be a terrorist incident in some part of the country or reports of bomb blasts in cities."

Singh assures safety of Indians in West Asia
The defense minister also addressed the ongoing conflict in West Asia, where Pakistan has offered to play a major mediatory role. He assured that the government is taking all necessary steps to ensure the safety of Indian nationals in these countries. "The conflict in West Asia is quite serious. Many people from Kerala live in West Asian countries," he said, adding that India was ready to deal with any energy crisis due to disruptions caused by this conflict.
