Eighteen days after she got a top post in Congress, Priyanka Gandhi Vadra hit the campaign trail on Monday in Lucknow. The anticipated roadshow, which featured Congress President Rahul Gandhi and Jyotiraditya Scindia, the Congress in-charge for UP West, started a short while ago. After joining active politics, Priyanka makes grand appearance
RaGa, Priyanka, and Scindia were welcomed to the state capital by Raj Babbar, the chief of Congress in UP. The roadshow, which marks Priyanka's first visit to UP after she joined active politics, will move through the congested areas of Lucknow like Hussainganj and Hazratganj. It will end at the party office. Further, Scindia and Priyanka will stay in UP for a few days.
Priyanka and Scindia will discuss poll strategy with partymen
Reports claimed Priyanka and Scindia will have a jam-packed schedule in Lucknow for the next three days. The two leaders will attend meetings from 10 AM which will go on till midnight. While Priyanka is in-charge of 42 Lok Sabha seats, Scindia has to handle 38. They will devote at least one hour to every Lok Sabha constituency and discuss strategy will partymen.

Before she made a grand appearance on the streets of Lucknow, Priyanka joined Twitter. The official handle of Congress announced her debut on Monday, and within minutes, Priyanka got thousands of followers. Meanwhile, BJP dismissed the roadshow by calling it a chor show. UP Minister SN Singh said the Gandhi-Vadra family was out on bail and people will see faces of those who looted the nation.
