Rahul says PM does yoga for votes; Adani-Ambani dance later
What's the story
Congress MP Rahul Gandhi has accused Prime Minister Narendra Modi of "drama" for votes and not delivering on promises post-elections. Speaking at a rally in Begusarai, Bihar, he said Modi doesn't listen to people after elections. "Narendra Modi gives speeches...saying he will do whatever you ask until election day," Gandhi said. "Tell him to do yoga, he will do a few asanas. But after the elections, all the singing and dancing will be done by Adani and Ambani," he added.
Business claims
Congress leader promises Nalanda-like university
Gandhi also accused PM Modi of prioritizing big businesses over small ones with decisions like GST and demonetization. He said, "Our approach is different. We want to promote small businesses." The Congress leader also slammed PM Modi for distracting youth from real issues like unemployment by asking them to watch reels. He promised a university on the lines of Nalanda University if his alliance comes to power in Bihar.
Campaign backlash
BJP files complaint against Gandhi
Gandhi's campaign has been controversial, with the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) filing a complaint against him for his remarks at a rally in Muzaffarpur. He had said there that "if you tell Narendra Modi to dance in exchange for your votes, he will dance on stage." Following the remarks, the BJP accused Gandhi of violating the model code and degrading the dignity of the Prime Minister's Office.

Gandhi brought up Trump's repeated claims of mediating a ceasefire between India and Pakistan, saying, "PM Modi, who says he has a 56-inch chest, is afraid of Trump. He told PM Modi to stop 'Operation Sindoor,' and he did it in two days. "The truth is he is not only afraid of Trump, but is remote-controlled by Adani and Ambani," he added.
