UP CM Yogi Adityanath has slammed the opposition for criticizing the grand celebrations that BJP organized in Ayodhya. He said "This is my personal faith and how can opposition interfere in this?" He also asserted that as CM, he has to ensure development of every region and he came to Ayodhya to check the security preparedness as many devotees visit the city during Diwali.

'BJP will build Ram Rajya through development'

While giving a speech in Ayodhya amid shouts of "Jai Shri Ram" and "Bharat Mata ki Jai," Yogi warned critics to not see any political designs behind his government's efforts to develop Ayodhya. He said that the BJP government, through development, plans to develop Ayodhya into a Ram Rajya that demonstrates progress and is devoid of poverty and discrimination.

Yogi questions critics for opposing everything he does

Yogi questioned critics saying "If I come to Ayodhya, they raise questions and if I don't, they say I am afraid of coming here. Now they are saying that the Ayodhya programme is to divert attention of the people." He said he was in Ayodhya to provide projects worth Rs. 133cr and see farmers' progress due to loan waivers and government's wheat purchase.

'BJP does not discriminate based on caste like Raavan Raj'

Terming the earlier governments as "Raavan Raj," which discriminated on the basis of 'family, caste, creed and religion', the BJP government focuses on development. He said that previous governments focused on the development of only some regions and ignored others. He claimed that Ayodhya has received only an hour of electricity on each day in the last 15 years.

Finally, Yogi aims to make UP a 'world tourism hub'

Yogi said this was only the first of four phases that he has planned for Ayodhya. Next, Ayodhya's ghats will be beautified. Further, other historic places like Kashi, Mathura, Namisharayna (Sitapur), Mirzapur, Tulsipur (Balrampur), Saharanpur will be developed to make UP a "world tourism hub."
