Android 16 QPR3 Beta 1 now rolling out for Pixel devices
Google just dropped the Android 16 QPR3 Beta 1 update for Pixel phones on December 18. This beta brings bigger changes than the usual monthly patches and follows the recent QPR2 release.
Heads up: Google warns that leaving the Beta Program after installing this update could mess with your data, so stick around if you try it.
The full version is expected in March 2026.
Who can get it and how to join
The update is rolling out over-the-air to Pixel 6 through Pixel 10 Pro Fold models and is also available on the Android Emulator (but no sideloading for Pixel 10 yet).
If you spot any bugs, you can report them right from your app drawer or Quick Settings using the Beta Feedback app.
