    About DxOMark

  • DxOMark is a benchmarking website that tests different types of cameras - smartphone cameras to digital cameras and lenses. Several industry-standard tests are conducted wherein 1,500+ images and 2+ hours of video are captured and examined in controlled lab environments and in natural indoor/outdoor scenes.

Interestingly, the XR has also toppled the 2017's dual-camera based iPhone X by an overall score difference of 4 points.

However, DxOMark noted iPhone XR users have to "accept some compromises when using zoom function or bokeh mode" due to the lack of secondary lens.
