  • A few hours ago, Apple held an event in California and unveiled a bunch of products, including a fancy iPhone 11 family, an updated iPad, and Apple Watch Series 5.

    The hardware, as always, marked the key highlight of the show but there was also something else that drew our attention - Apple TV+ and its tempting pricing.

  • First announced during the special 'services' event in March, Apple TV+ comes as Apple's own Netflix competitor.

    The video subscription service offers a bunch of original shows, movies, and documentaries and will be available in 100 countries around the world starting November 1, Apple has said.

    It will be available for users in India as well on the same day.

  • According to the Cupertino giant, Apple TV+ will have the most powerful and inspiring line-up of originals.

    This would include Hailee Steinfeld-starrer Dickinson, Battlestar Galactica creator Ronald D. Moore's For All Mankind, Jennifer Annison and Reese Witherspoon-starrer TV newsroom drama The Morning Show, Jason Momoa-starrer drama See, and a nature documentary called The Elephant Queen.

  • Apple has said that the content of TV+ can be accessed either through the Apple TV app for iPhone, iPad, Apple TV, iPod Touch, Mac or through tv.apple.com.

    The company has invested as much as $6 billion (over Rs. 50,000 crore) on the service's content and also promised to bring support for Amazon's Fire TV devices in the future.

  • Among other things, Apple has also said that buying a new iPhone, iPad, Apple TV, iPod Touch or Mac will entitle you to a complete one-year subscription of Apple TV+ for free.
