What's the story
The latest installment in the Call of Duty franchise, Black Ops 7, has officially launched in India. The game is available in Standard and Vault Editions, with the latter offering additional perks such as early access to new content and exclusive in-game rewards. The game is available across PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC—one of the broadest rollouts for a COD title. It has also debuted on Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass.

Black Ops 7 features an expanded Zombies experience
Black Ops 7 brings a new campaign, an expanded Zombies experience, and a huge multiplayer lineup. It reintroduces several fan-favorite weapons from previous Black Ops titles such as the Peacemaker MK1, M8A1, and PDW-57 (now called PUMA SMG). The Rampart AR from Black Ops 4 returns as the Eagle while VS Recon serves as a modern version of the iconic DSR-50.

Black Ops 7 offers extensive multiplayer maps and modes
Black Ops 7 features the biggest collection of 6v6 maps ever seen at launch, with a total of 16 core maps and two Skirmish-scale battlefields. The iconic Nuketown 2025 will be available during the Preseason on November 20. Classic multiplayer modes such as Team Deathmatch, Domination, Hardpoint, Search and Destroy, Kill Confirmed return in this installment.
Gameplay overhaul
Zombies mode gets a major revamp in Black Ops 7
The Zombies mode in Black Ops 7 has been given its most ambitious treatment yet. It features the biggest map ever created for this mode and a new drivable Wonder Vehicle to help players traverse large areas. The Dark Aether narrative takes players through different time periods and locations, bringing back elements from previous iterations. Classic Survival maps return while Dead Ops Arcade makes its fourth appearance in this installment.

Black Ops 7 features extensive progression and prestige systems
Black Ops 7 comes with a robust progression system including traditional Prestige, weapon prestige, camos, calling cards, and mastery challenges. Players who start early will get five hours of Double XP and five hours of Double Weapon XP before Season 01. In India, the Black Ops 7 Cross-Gen bundle costs ₹5,999 on the PlayStation Store and it includes both last-gen and current-gen console versions. The Vault Edition costs ₹8,249 and comes with a range of extra digital bonuses.
