OPPO rolls out ColorOS 11 update for the Reno2 smartphone

OPPO has started rolling out the Android 11-based ColorOS 11 update for its Reno2 model in multiple countries including India. As per the changelog, the firmware brings in features like Dark Mode, Always-on Display, Flex Drop, Ringtone maker, and Google Lens' three-finger translation. It also introduces all the goodies of the Android 11 OS. Here are more details.
In order to update, you need to be running one of these detectable versions: C.45/C.47/C.49/F.13/F.15/F.16, depending on the region. To manually check for the update, you can go to Settings > Software Updates > select Official Version Application and tap "Apply now".
As far as its specifications are concerned, the OPPO Reno2 features a notch-less, edge-to-edge display and a pop-up selfie camera. On the rear, it houses a vertically-aligned quad camera setup. The handset bears a 6.5-inch Full-HD+ (1080x2400 pixels) AMOLED screen with an aspect ratio of 20:9 and an integrated fingerprint sensor. It is offered in Luminous Black, Ocean Blue, and Sunset Pink color options.
The OPPO Reno2 comes with a quad rear camera setup comprising a 48MP (f/1.7) primary sensor, a 13MP (f/2.4) telephoto lens, an 8MP (f/2.2) ultra-wide shooter, and a 2MP (f/2.4) monochrome lens. For selfies, there is a 16MP (f/2.0) motorized pop-up camera.
The OPPO Reno2 is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 730G processor, paired with 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of storage. Under the hood, it packs a 4,000mAh battery with 20W fast-charging support and is now upgradeable to Android 11. In terms of connectivity, the device offers support for dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, NFC, a headphone jack, and a Type-C port.
