Disney tells Google to take down AI videos from YouTube

Disney just made Google pull a bunch of AI-made videos featuring Mickey Mouse, Moana, and Deadpool off YouTube.
The reason? Disney says these clips broke copyright rules, and they were gone from the platform after Disney sent a cease-and-desist letter.

Why Disney is taking action

Disney isn't just worried about the videos themselves—it also claims Google used scenes from its movies to train AI models like Veo and Nano Banana without permission.
At the same time, Disney's working with OpenAI (so you can use their characters in ChatGPT), but they're staying firm about protecting their creations and have even sued other AI companies for similar reasons.
