DuckDuckGo is rolling out a new security upgrade called Scam Blocker for iOS and Mac browsers.
Now, it shields you from a wider range of online scams—think fake shopping sites, sketchy crypto platforms, scammy surveys, and those annoying scareware pop-ups.
If you stumble onto something shady, the tool blocks the site and gives you a heads-up right away.

The latest update adds protection against bogus investment sites, counterfeit crypto exchanges, discount pharmacy scams, and sneaky surveys trying to steal your info or cash.
It also stops scareware that fakes virus alerts to push useless antivirus or tech support.
All this joins existing blocks on phishing sites and malware ads—and it works anonymously without sharing your data.
