Google Calendar unveils simplified app for Apple Watch
Google just dropped its Calendar app for Apple Watch, making it easier to check your schedule and Google Tasks right from your wrist.
You'll see a simple list of your week's events on colorful cards, and tapping them gives you more details like time and location.
If you want to add new events or reminders, though, you'll still need to grab your phone.
Two handy watch complications
The app features two handy watch complications: "What's next" shows your upcoming plans in different formats, including a Smart Stack widget for quick peeks; the circular "Today's date" keeps the date front and center—tap it to jump straight into Google Calendar.
Just make sure you've updated the iPhone app to version 25.24.1 for everything to work smoothly.
This launch joins other Google favorites like Maps and YouTube Music already on Apple Watch, making life a bit more seamless if you're all-in on Google apps.
