Google drops CC, an AI assistant for your morning routine
Technology
Google just rolled out CC, a new AI assistant designed to make mornings easier.
Its "Your Day Ahead" feature pulls together stuff from your emails, calendar, and docs to give you a quick rundown of your schedule, important tasks, and reminders like appointments or bills.
It can even draft emails and set up calendar links so you're ready to go.
Who can try it (and what else it does)
Right now, CC is in early access for paid users over 18 in the US and Canada—there's a waitlist.
Powered by Google's Gemini AI and working with Gmail, Calendar, and Drive, CC tailors its updates to you.
You can tweak things by replying through email if you want more control.
Similar to OpenAI's ChatGPT Pulse briefings, CC joins Google's growing lineup of AI tools for productivity.
