Expanding its portfolio of smart devices in India, Google has launched its Nest Hub in the country for Rs. 9,999.
It is essentially a smart display that lets you control your IoT products via voice or touch, stream YouTube videos, cast your smartphone screen, and even get answers for everyday queries, thanks to built-in Google Assistant.
Here's all about Google Nest Hub.
On the front, the Google Nest Hub features a 7-inch touchscreen display with dual far-field microphones and an Ambient EQ light sensor. Behind the display, there's a full-range speaker covered in fabric.
The device also comes with dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, built-in Chromecast, and built-in Google Assistant.
For power, the Nest Hub uses a 15W adaptor that fits in the regular DC power port.
With the Nest Hub, you can control your smart home devices like lights, speakers, switches, TVs, etc. - all from a single dashboard by using voice or touch. You can also set your personalized routines and check your reminders.
And when not in use, the Nest Hub can automatically show your favorite photos with Google Photos-based Live Album feature.
With YouTube integration, you can ask Nest Hub to show food recipes from NDTV Food, Archana's Kitchen and TarlaDalal.com, among others. You can also stream music from YouTube Music, Gaana, Saavn, Spotify, and Wynk Music.
Additionally, the device can read out news for you from specific news channels. There is also a Filters feature which you can use to filter out any content.
The Google Nest Hub is priced at Rs. 9,999 and it is available for purchase via Flipkart, Tata CliQ, Croma, and Reliance Digital.
As part of the launch offer, the tech giant has partnered with Xiaomi to offer the Mi Security Camera worth Rs. 1,799 free with the Nest Hub. Notably, this limited-period offer can be availed through Flipkart and Tata CliQ only.
