Google is rolling out a Material 3 redesign for Docs, Sheets, and Slides on Android.
The update brings a cleaner search bar, easier access to your Drive and device files with new circular icons, and a colorful floating action button (FAB) that stands out from the old plain background.

The FAB now pops up animated options like "Choose template" or "New document" in pill-shaped buttons—making it quicker to start something new.
This update (version 1.25.431+) is all about making the apps feel more unified across Google Workspace, while also looking sharper and being easier to use, as users might expect from a UI-focused redesign.
