Setting up your countdown
To start using the Countdown feature in your Instagram story, first open the Instagram app on your Android device. Swipe right to open the story creation interface and tap on Create located at the bottom left corner. Either capture new media or choose an existing photo or video from your library that will be used as the background for your countdown.

After selecting your background, tap the smiley face icon or swipe up to access the sticker menu. Choose "Countdown," and either create a new one or select a previously used countdown. Set the date and time, pick a color, and position it on your story. Feel free to add music or additional stickers before sharing.
