Instacart just rolled out an AI shopping assistant aimed at making online grocery shopping smoother.
First up, it's being tested with Sprouts Farmers Market and will be available on Kroger's iPhone app.
The assistant can whip up meal plans based on your dietary needs and add all the right ingredients straight to your cart—making checkout a breeze.

This move is part of Instacart's bigger plan to boost its tech offerings alongside delivery.
They're teaming up with OpenAI, Google, and Microsoft to bring smarter features across 1,800+ retail brands.
On top of that, their AI is already helping stores track real-time inventory using data from delivery couriers and smart carts, with more locations getting this upgrade soon.
