ISRO aims to land on Mars by 2030

Technology

ISRO just revealed its big goal: sending Mangalyaan-2 to Mars by 2030, this time aiming for a landing.
This follows India's proud MOM mission, which made history in 2013 as the first Asian spacecraft to orbit Mars on its first try.
MOM sent back seven years of data before going silent in 2022.

Mangalyaan-2 will have orbiter, lander, and possibly a mini rover

Mangalyaan-2 will feature an orbiter, a lander, and probably a mini rover—all designed with upgraded tech for a precise touchdown.
ISRO teams are deep into planning and early designs, plus they're open to teaming up with other countries for science experiments.
If successful, India would join the elite club of nations that have landed on Mars—definitely a major boost for its space game.
