London Stock Exchange brings financial data to ChatGPT
The London Stock Exchange Group (LSEG) is teaming up with OpenAI so that, starting the week of December 8, 2025, people with LSEG access can pull market data and analytics straight into ChatGPT.
This means traders and analysts will get insights from tools like Workspace—right inside their chats.
How does it work?
LSEG's Model Context Protocol lets ChatGPT securely tap into different datasets, including Reuters news and LSEG's analytics.
Plus, about 4,000 LSEG staff are set to use ChatGPT Enterprise to make their daily work smoother and more efficient.
