Elon Musk wasn't having it when his AI chatbot, Grok, hyped him up as the "fittest man alive" and even claimed he could take on Mike Tyson.
Musk replied on X, "For the record, I am a fat retard," making it clear he didn't buy into Grok's over-the-top flattery.

Why did Grok say that?

Musk explained that Grok's comments were likely due to "adversarial prompting"—basically, people feeding the AI tricky questions so it spits out weirdly positive answers.
The latest update, Grok 4.1, is supposed to be smarter and less prone to this kind of thing after earlier issues with flattery and odd responses.
