Nubia RedMagic 7 to feature independent gaming-focused chipset
Nubia is gearing up to soon launch its latest flagship smartphone, the RedMagic 7, in China. Now, a recent post on the company's Weibo handle has revealed the handset will arrive with an in-house-built independent gaming processor alongside the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset. The addition of this gaming-centric chip will deliver a seamless gaming experience with enhanced sound, vibration, and better tactile feedback.

The Nubia RedMagic 7 is rumored to feature a punch-hole design with rounded corners, slim bezels, and an in-display fingerprint sensor. The rear will be fitted with a triple camera module. It may bear a 6.8-inch Full-HD+ (1080x2400 pixels) OLED display, a 165Hz refresh rate, and a high touch sampling rate. It is likely to be available in Black, Blue, Green, and Red colors.
The Nubia RedMagic 7 is said to flaunt a triple rear camera module, comprising a 64MP main camera and two other sensors equipped with an LED flash. For selfies and video calls, the handset may sport a 16MP front-facing snapper.
The Nubia RedMagic 7 shall draw power from a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset, coupled with up to 16GB of LPDDR5 RAM and up to 512GB of UFS 3.1 internal storage. It should boot Android 12 with the latest RedMagic UI skin baked on top and pack a 4,500mAh battery with 135W fast-charging support. For connectivity, it should support 5G, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth.
The official pricing and availability details of the Nubia RedMagic 7 will be announced at the time of its launch. However, based on the leaked specifications and features, the handset may start at around Rs. 50,000.
