OnePlus 9RT now available for purchase in India via Amazon
The OnePlus 9RT, which was launched in India last week, has gone on sale in the country. The handset carries a starting price-tag of Rs. 42,999 and is available via Amazon as well as OnePlus India's official website. To recall, the 9RT comes with a 120Hz AMOLED display, a Snapdragon 888 processor, triple rear cameras, and 65W fast-charging support.
- The 9RT is OnePlus's latest addition to its premium 9-series of smartphones and a competitor of the recently-launched Samsung Galaxy S21 FE.
- The handset was first announced in China last October and had grossed CNY 100 million sales revenue within five minutes of its first sale.
- We are yet to see if the device garners the same response in India as well.
The OnePlus 9RT comes with a punch-hole cut-out on the top-left corner, slim bezels, and an under-display fingerprint sensor. On the rear, it has a rectangular camera module. It bears a 6.62-inch Full-HD+ (1080x2400 pixels) E4 AMOLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate, a 20:9 aspect ratio, and Corning Gorilla Glass for protection. The handset is 8.3mm thick and tips the scales at 198.5g.
The OnePlus 9RT is equipped with a triple rear camera setup comprising a 50MP (f/1.8) primary sensor, a 16MP (f/2.2) 123-degree ultra-wide lens, and a 2MP (f/2.4) macro snapper. For selfies and video calling, it has a 16MP (f/2.4) front-facing camera. The front and rear cameras are capable of recording 1080p and 4K videos at 30fps and 60fps, respectively.
The OnePlus 9RT is powered by a Snapdragon 888 processor, paired with up to 12GB of RAM and up to 256GB of storage. It ships with Android 11-based OxygenOS 12 and packs a 4,500mAh battery with 65W fast-charging support. In terms of connectivity, it offers support for Bluetooth 5.2, Wi-Fi 6, 5G, NFC, GPS, and a Type-C port.
The OnePlus 9RT is priced at Rs. 42,999 for the 8GB/128GB model and Rs. 46,999 for the 12GB/256GB version. It can be purchased in Nano Silver and Hacker Black color options via Amazon and OnePlus's official website.
